The days of late fly by in an incredibly insane blur. So many things to observe. Sooooooo many things to observe. I guess I need to pick my poison, and today it’s going to be the Babe Ruth fields. My son’s new job is right next to the State College Babe Ruth fields. He went to the fields and it felt like home. HOWEVER, once he got there, he realized these weren’t the fields that he used to know. These fields have lost the warning track, the pitching mounds, and the overall feel of what they used to mean. There used to be pride in these fields. It’s gone now. What the hell is that all about?
